The speed of AI. With the confidence of an audit.
You have always had to choose. Fast, or defensible. AEGIS is built so you don't — the intelligence does the work, and the evidence layer makes it yours to sign.
Hours, not weeks
Six months of bank statements, read and reconciled in minutes. A client's book brought across from Pastel in an afternoon, not a fortnight. A data room reviewed overnight. The work is done to the same standard; it simply no longer consumes the week.
Numbers you can sign
Every figure the system reports is computed from the ledger and traces back to the posting that produced it. There is nothing to double-check, because nothing was estimated. Your name goes on work you can defend line by line.
Nothing falls through
The system knows what each client owes and when — VAT, payroll, provisional tax, statements — because it derives those obligations from the client's own facts. You will not learn in August that a June return was never filed.
Capacity to grow
Most practices are limited by capacity, not by demand. When the mechanical work is done and proved by the system, your people are free for the work clients actually pay for — the judgement, the advice, the relationship.
The intelligence proposes.
The evidence disposes.
That confidence has to be earned, and a language model cannot earn it alone. So every AEGIS system pairs a reasoning layer with a deterministic one that checks its work. The agents are fast. The evidence layer is exact. Neither is asked to do the other's job.
to the cent.An answer is worth only the evidence behind it.
One engine. Pointed at the work that carries a signature.
These are not separate products that happen to share a name. They share the engine — the same agents, the same evidence layer, the same standard of proof. The intelligence is built once, and every profession it is pointed at inherits it. Finance OS is the system we are shipping. The rest are in development on the same engine, and we would rather say so than imply otherwise.
Finance OS
A complete accounting and compliance system for South African practices — the ledger, the subledgers, payroll, SARS returns, financial statements and the Companies Act tests. Every figure it reports is computed from the ledger and can be traced to the posting behind it.
EXPLORE →Investigations
Evidence-bound casework. Every finding must cite the document, transaction or statement that supports it. A conclusion without a source is not a conclusion — it is an allegation, and the system records it as one.
IN DEVELOPMENTDue Diligence
The system reads the data room, reconciles the figures against the financial statements, and reports separately on what it was able to verify and what it was not. A finding that cannot be traced to a primary document is presented as exactly that.
IN DEVELOPMENTAutomation
AI workflows, process orchestration and system integration at scale — the same agents that run the ledger, pointed at the repetitive work around it.
IN DEVELOPMENTCyber Intelligence
Threat intelligence, attack-surface monitoring and incident response — every finding tied to the evidence behind it, the same standard the rest of the engine is held to.
IN DEVELOPMENTStrategos
Strategy and decision support on the same evidence engine — options weighed and the reasoning behind the call shown, not asserted.
IN DEVELOPMENTScripture
A scripture study and reference app on the same evidence engine — outside the professional suite, but held to the same standard: every reference traceable to its source.
IN DEVELOPMENTA book is proved before it lands — not reconciled after.
The agents read the printed reports in seconds. The evidence layer then checks them three ways, to the cent, so that what enters your ledger is already reconciled. Below is the check the system runs; the figures shown are representative of a take-on.
- Debits equal credits. Not approximately. Exactly.
- Debtors control equals the sum of the open invoices. Ledger and subledger agree from the first day.
- Creditors control equals the sum of the open bills. The same rule, on the other side.
- If the source data is wrong, you are told immediately — with the difference on screen — rather than at year end.
